Our Nursery

We are very fortunate to host an excellent, school-managed Nursery right here on our site. 

Our setting is led by a qualified teacher and a dedicated team of early years support staff. Together, they create a caring and stimulating environment where children flourish. We believe in learning through play, offering your child the best start in education. Our facilities include a spacious indoor classroom and a wonderful, large outdoor area designed for exploration and growth.

Nursery Places and Sessions: 

Ages - children are eligible to join us from the term after their 3rd birthday

Sessions and Hours - our offer and expectation is that every child attends for 15 hours a week across five mornings; 08.30am to 11.30am.

Funding & Entitlements: 

We offer the 15 hour universal entitlement to all children attending our Nursery.

Please Note:

• Should our spaces be full at the time of your application, your child will be placed on our waiting list. We will contact you immediately when a spot opens up.

• We prioritise applications for children who are in our local catchment area and those who have siblings currently enroled at the school.

Children are eligible to start in our Nursery the term after they turn 3 years old. In the September after the 4th birthday, they move to a Reception class either in this school or another school. Parents need to apply to the Local Authority for a Reception place even if their child has attended our Nursery. 

Nursery Funding and Voluntary Chargeable Extras:

All places in our Nursery are funded through the Universal Entitlement, which provides free nursery education for all 3 and 4 year olds in England. 

Healthy Snack: An optional voluntary contribution of £1 per week to cover the cost of providing a daily, nutritious snack for your child.
